Established in 1987 and headquartered in Thomasville, North Carolina, Flint manufactures and supplies preformed thermoplastic pavement markings. Our core product, PreMark®, was originally developed in Scandinavia, home to some of the world's harshest driving conditions. Today, a complete line of PreMark® preformed thermoplastic pavement markings are made at our ISO-certified manufacturing facility in North Carolina. Flint also manufactures and markets HotTape™ preformed thermoplastic pavement markings; TopMark® preformed thermoplastic detectable warnings; TrafficPatterns® Decorative Crosswalks and Traffic Calming Surfaces; DecoMark® Custom Logos and Surface Signage; and AirMark® preformed thermoplastic pavement markings for airfields.
Flint is the exclusive distributor of Ride-A-Way™ specialized coatings for colorized preferential lanes.
Flint is also the exclusive distributor in the United States, Canada and Latin America for a variety of DELTA® instruments that are repeatable, reproducible and traceable to a national standard. DELTA instruments are designed with advanced optics to measure retroreflectivity for nighttime visibility as well as daytime visibility of pavement markings.
Precision Scan, an affiliate of Flint, collects and evaluates retroreflectivity, color and visibility data for pavement markings using mobile or hand-held reflectometers.
Finally, Flint also offers the Flint 2000EX and Magnum industrial propane heat torches, Bundy® and SuperBundy® adhesives, Dura-Post® delineator posts, and a line of StreetHeat™ Infrared Heaters for the application of preformed thermoplastic pavement markings.
